Welcome to the Ulfhethnar Kindred Study Center. This page is intended as an informational source for the Ulfhethnar Kindred and our associates.
In this section you will find links to online books and manuscripts that Asatruar might find useful. Some of these works are out of print, so having an online version to study from is helpful and we recommend that folks take advantage of them because there's no telling how long some of these links will be active.
We also have some Study Guides that were created for our prison outreach program. Check back frequently, as there will be regular additions. Some of these are very basic in nature, and were designed that way. Remember, these were originally designed for prisoners, many of whom are new to the religion of Asatru. These Study Guides are designed in conjunction with various books, which were specifically chosen for their availability. Unfortunately, some of these (notably Our Troth) were written by those of a more universal mindset, but nevertheless they do contain some valuable information once the universalistic nonsense is sifted through. Again, most were chosen with availability in mind for the prisoners, as well as their cost of purchase. One exception to this is Myth and Religion of the North by Turville-Petra, but since it is so densely packed with information we wanted it included in at least some of the guides. Our Study Guides also assign reading from various websites such as Wikipedia, etc. For the prisoners involved in our program, we used to print these pages and mail them in. Hopefully, these Study Guides will be useful for our online readers as well as the prisoners we've worked with in the past.
Finally, we have some essays that were written at various times and for various reasons by members of our kindred or friends that have contributed their works. You might find some of these interesting as well. New ones are periodically added.
